AGE 3 years

These toddlers start learing the vocabulary of ballet and tap and across dance in a fun and energetic classroom setting.  This class offers an introduction to ballet, tap, and basic stretching.  Students will learn a ballet and tap dance number to perform in the annual dance recital.

*  Students at this level are offered an additional "elective" class: ACRO

*  Students must be potty trained.

PRESCHOOL PRINCESS

AGE 4 years

SHINING STARS

AGE 5 years

As students grow, so will their knowledge and love for dance.  Our Shining Stars class teaches students proper dance classroom etiquette while expanding the student's knowledge of ballet, tap and jazz dance.  Jazz dance is introduced at this level.   Students will learn 3 separate dances to perform at the annual ACDA dance recital.

DANCING DIVAS

AGE 6 years

The Dancing Divas class instills proper technique and terminology for ballet, tap and jazz dance.  Students will learn 3 separate dances to perform at the annual ACDA dance recital. 

 

*  Students at this level are offered an additional "elective" class: MINI HIP HOP

LEVEL 1

AGES 7-8 years

Students learn new dance terminology and choreography.  This class is composed of 30 minutes of ballet, tap and jazz.  Students will learn a ballet, tap and jazz dance to perform in the annual dance recital.

*  Students at this level are offered an additional "elective" class: INTERMEDIATE HIP HOP

LEVEL 2

AGES 9-11 years

Students learn new dance terminology and choreography.  This group will learn a ballet, tap and jazz dance to perform in the annual dance recital.  Also, students from this level will be offerd the opportunity to participate in a contemporary dance class which will also perform an additional dance for the annual recital.

*  Students at this level are offered TWO additional "elective" class: JR HIP HOP & JR CONTEMPORARY

 

 

LEVEL 3

AGES 12-18 years

This class level welcomes new students and experienced students of the designated age group.  Level 3 performs a ballet, tap and jazz routines which they will perform at the annual dance recital.  Also, students from this level will be offerd the opportunity to participate in a contemporary dance class which will also turn out an additional dance for the annual recital.

SINGLE CLASSES



Some of our elective classes are offered individually for dancers who are not interested in participating in the curriculum classes listed above.

           MINI HIP HOP - AGES 5 & 6

           Thursday classes

           INTERMEDIATE HIP HOP - AGES 7 & 8

           JUNIOR HIP HOP - AGES 9 - 11

           SENIOR HIP HOP - AGES 12 & UP

* BALLET, TAP AND HIP HOP MAY ALSO BE TAKEN AS SINGLE CLASSES.

 

 

* LEVELS 1, 2 and 3 MAY TAKE ANY COMBINATION OF THE CLASSES AVAILABLE, ALTHOUGH BALLET IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO TAKE JAZZ AND/OR CONTEMPORARY.
